Seller and scope of these terms
Tickets and related products in the lippu.net ticket shop are sold by FoxCodePlus Oy (Business ID 2939023-3), the provider of the Lippunet ticketing service (Lippunet). We sell tickets in our own name on behalf of the event organizer. These terms apply to the purchase of tickets, gift cards and related products from the lippu.net shop and to the use of the Lippunet websites. By placing an order you accept these terms. Breaching the terms may lead to cancellation of your order or tickets, blocking of your access to the service, or refusal of entry to the event without compensation.
Responsibility of the event organizer
The organizer of each event is stated in the event details. The organizer is responsible for the execution, content, schedule, programme and performer changes, safety and venue arrangements of the event, and decides on any cancellation, rescheduling and age limits. For a justified reason, such as an order or instruction issued by the authorities, safety, or force majeure, the organizer may change the schedule, programme, performers or venue of the event. A minor change to the programme or arrangements does not entitle the buyer to a refund. Lippunet is responsible for ticket sales, payment processing and ticket delivery, but not for the realization or content of the event.
Prices
Prices are stated in euros and include value added tax at the applicable rate. In addition to the ticket price, an order may be subject to a service fee and a possible delivery or payment method fee, which are shown in the shopping cart before payment. The total shown at checkout is the final price payable. Prices may change, but changes do not apply to orders already paid.
Payment methods
Online payments are processed by an external payment service provider, which may vary depending on the selected payment method and the event. Lippunet appears as the payee on your receipt and statement. The payment methods available at any given time, such as the most common payment cards and mobile payment methods, are shown at checkout before payment. For some events you can also pay with Finnish culture and sports benefits (for example ePassi, Smartum or Edenred), in which case the payment is processed by the benefit provider under its own terms. Culture and sports benefits are personal and may only be used by the beneficiary. We never store your payment card number.
Reservations, conclusion of the sale and ticket delivery
Tickets reserved in your cart must be paid within the time shown at checkout; unpaid reservations expire automatically and the tickets are returned to sale. Joining a waitlist does not create a reservation or guarantee tickets. A binding sale is concluded when the payment has been approved and Lippunet has sent the order confirmation. A guardian is responsible for purchases made by an underage customer. Tickets are delivered after payment using the delivery method chosen by the customer in the order, for example by email, text message or post. The available delivery methods, any related fees and the estimated delivery time are shown at checkout before payment, and we are not responsible for postal delays. Electronic tickets are usually delivered immediately after payment. If your tickets do not arrive within the expected time, first check the spam folder of your email and then contact our customer service at [email protected]. The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the contact and delivery details provided, and tickets that cannot be delivered due to incorrect details are not compensated. If an order cannot be fulfilled as such due to a technical error, for example regarding seat reservations, we will offer equivalent seats or refund the order.
Customer account and sign-in
Buying tickets does not require a password: you sign in to the service with a one-time code sent to your email or phone number, or with a passkey created for your device. You are responsible for ensuring that the contact details you provide are correct and under your control, and for keeping your email account, phone subscription, and devices secure. You are responsible for all activity on your customer account. We have the right to block access to the service for a customer who has breached these terms, the law, or good practice.
Using tickets
A ticket entitles the holder to entry to the event stated on the ticket in accordance with the terms of the ticket type. Unless otherwise stated on the ticket or in the event details, a ticket entitles the holder to one entry. Multi-use tickets, such as serial tickets, season passes and annual passes, may also be available; their number of uses and period of validity are stated in the ticket type details. The ticket code is checked at the entrance, and the ticket can be presented on a phone screen or printed. If the Secure wallet is in use at the event, the ticket must be presented from the Secure wallet, where the ticket code changes automatically; a printed code or a screenshot of the code is not accepted in that case. A single-entry ticket is valid only once, and the same code cannot be used to enter again. Keep your ticket safe and do not publish or give its code to third parties, and please make sure before the event that you can open your ticket on your device. The holder of a ticket bought at a reduced price (for example a student or pensioner ticket) must be prepared to show proof of eligibility at the entrance.
Conduct at the event
The buyer and ticket holder agree to follow the organizer's instructions and rules of conduct at the event and to behave in an appropriate, equal and respectful manner towards others. The organizer or its representative may carry out a security check at the entrance, and it is forbidden to bring dangerous items or items prohibited by the organizer, such as weapons, glass bottles and fireworks, to the event. At age-restricted events, proof of age must be shown on request with an identity document. Please note that sound levels at events may be high; hearing protection is recommended, especially for children. The organizer may refuse entry to, or remove from the event, a person who violates the rules of conduct, the law or good practice, or who disturbs others, for example through violent or inappropriate behaviour. In such cases the ticket is not refunded.
Right of withdrawal
Under chapter 6, section 16 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales does not apply to leisure services arranged for a specific date or period. The purchase of a ticket tied to a specific date or time is therefore binding, and such tickets are not exchanged or refunded. However, an unused season or annual pass that is not tied to a specific date or time is subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales from the date of purchase. Additional products sold together with tickets, such as merchandise, are subject to the 14-day right of return for distance sales from receipt of the goods. A returned product must be unused and in resalable condition, and the buyer is responsible for the return costs unless otherwise stated. The right of return does not cover, for example, foodstuffs or products made or customized to the buyer's specifications. Withdrawals and returns can be notified to our customer service at [email protected]. Please check the event, date, number of tickets and ticket types carefully before paying.
Cancelled and rescheduled events
If the organizer cancels the event, we refund the ticket price. Service, delivery and payment method fees are not refunded. We notify buyers of cancellations by email to the address provided with the order, and essential notifications concerning the event, such as change and cancellation announcements, are sent by email or text message regardless of your marketing consent. Please also follow the event details and the organizer's communications before the event. Refunds are not made automatically: the refund must be requested from our customer service no later than two (2) months from the cancellation notice or the announced date of the event, unless a longer period is stated in the cancellation notice. We pay the refund within two (2) weeks of the request, primarily to the payment method used for the purchase, and refunds are always paid to the ticket's original buyer. If the event is rescheduled, the ticket remains valid for the new date unless otherwise announced. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, any refund is decided by the event organizer.
Interrupted events
If an event has to be interrupted by decision of the organizer or by order of the authorities, the ticket price may be refunded in full or in part if a substantial part of the event could not be carried out. The refund for an interrupted event and its amount are decided by the event organizer.
Organizer insolvency
Lippunet remits ticket revenue to the event organizer. If the event does not take place due to the organizer's bankruptcy or other insolvency and the ticket price cannot be refunded, an unused ticket constitutes a claim that the buyer may present to the organizer's bankruptcy estate. A buyer who paid by credit card may also claim a refund from the credit provider under chapter 7, section 39 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
Gift cards and discount codes
Gift cards are delivered electronically and are valid for the period stated on the gift card. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and unused value is not refunded. An unused gift card is subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales. Discount codes are campaign or event specific, and their terms of use and validity are stated in connection with the campaign.
Lost tickets, ticket transfer and resale
If a ticket is lost, you can order a new ticket link yourself by text message following the instructions in the ticket shop, or contact our customer service. Your tickets also remain available in the mobile wallet, which you can access by signing in with your email address even if your device is lost or replaced. A named ticket may be sold or given to another person only by transferring the ticket to the new holder using the transfer feature of our service, which invalidates the previous ticket code and issues the new holder their own ticket. An accepted transfer cannot be reversed, and any refunds are always paid to the ticket's original buyer, who must also pass on event-related information to the ticket's recipient. Lippunet is not responsible for tickets purchased from anywhere other than the lippu.net shop or the official sales channels announced by the organizer, nor for tickets passed on without using the transfer feature. Commercial resale of tickets or their use in marketing without the permission of Lippunet and the organizer is prohibited. We may cancel an order and refund the price paid if the order exceeds a stated purchase limit or if there is a justified reason to suspect misuse.
Limitation of liability
In all cases, the liability of Lippunet is limited to no more than the amount the buyer has paid for tickets and fees. Lippunet is not liable for indirect damages or, for example, travel, accommodation or other costs arising from the cancellation, rescheduling or modification of an event. These terms do not limit the rights of consumers under mandatory legislation.
Force majeure
Lippunet is not liable for any delay or damage caused by an impediment beyond its control which it could not reasonably have been expected to take into account and whose consequences it could not reasonably have avoided. Such impediments include, for example, a widespread telecommunications or payment system failure, an order issued by the authorities, a strike, a state of emergency and a natural disaster.
Processing of personal data
We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on the Privacy page of our website.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example as the service develops or legislation changes. The terms in force at the time of purchase apply to the order. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of this page, and all previous versions of the terms remain permanently available in the version history at the end of this page.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Finnish law. If a dispute cannot be resolved by negotiating with our customer service, consumers may contact the free-of-charge Finnish Consumer Advisory Services (kkv.fi) and refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi). We recommend contacting the Consumer Advisory Services before bringing a matter before the Consumer Disputes Board. Consumers also have the right to bring the matter before the district court of their place of residence.
Language versions
These terms are published in Finnish and English. In the event of any discrepancy or difference of interpretation between the language versions, the Finnish version shall prevail.
