What is a box office?
Box office (door sales) means selling tickets on site at the venue — at a counter or on a mobile device — typically just before or during the event.
In a solid setup the box office uses the same ticket product and capacity as online sales, so you never oversell or have to reconcile two systems. Payment methods include cards, contactless and local methods, and the buyer gets the same mobile or QR ticket as online.
In Lippunet the box office and online sales share one inventory: capacity updates in real time both ways and you see sales by channel from a single view.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate payment terminal for the box office?
You can run the box office on a phone or tablet. Payment terminals and ticket printers are available for venues and larger events.
Does capacity stay in sync with online?
Yes. When the door and online share one inventory, every sold ticket updates both channels instantly, so no overselling occurs.
