What is an e-ticket?
An e-ticket (electronic ticket) is a digital ticket delivered to the buyer by email or to a mobile wallet and shown on a phone screen as a QR code at entry.
An e-ticket replaces the paper ticket: it's cheaper, faster to deliver and harder to lose. At the gate the ticket is validated by scanning the QR code, so the system confirms it's genuine and hasn't already been used.
In Lippunet every ticket is mobile and QR, and validation happens with a free scanner app. For high-demand events the e-ticket can be protected with the secure wallet, where the QR code refreshes continuously.
