What is ticket resale?
Ticket resale means selling a ticket on after the original purchase. Uncontrolled resale leads to overpricing, fraud and disappointed customers.
When a ticket is just a static QR code, it can be sold on or shared with anyone without the organizer's knowledge. This enables scalping and scams, especially for sold-out events.
